HR Administrator

Your responsibilities

HR Administration

  • Administer end to end transactional administration activities associated with the employment cycle for all employees and maintaining up to date electronic files.  Ensuring legal compliance.
  • Resolve day to day customer service enquiries, issues and complaints though a variety of methods in accordance with company policies and any agreed service level agreements
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers and escalate to Head of HR where appropriate.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating the company’s HR intranet and benefits details.
  • Ensure policies are adhered to by all colleagues, providing a first line of support on where these are located 
  • Challenge existing processes and continually look for improvements in efficiency, practices and quality of the HR function.
  • Monitor and co-ordinate probation and benefit systems processes.
  • Assist the HR department with projects as required.

System

  • Ensure that all employee data is entered and maintained accurately into the HR system within a timely and consistent manner. Custodian for all employee data stored in HR filing systems.
  • Be the main ‘super user’ for the system and a key point of contact for the system provider.  Work to ensure the system remains fit for purpose, supporting new module roll-out and opportunities for system enhancement, and working closely with line managers and other users to develop their knowledge and use of the system.
  • Produce accurate monthly and adhoc reports as required from within the system. 

Resourcing & Talent programme

  • Support delivery of the company’s resourcing and talent process.

Training & Development

  • Support the company’s training and development programme,including organising and booking events.

Ad hoc items

  • Provide administration support services to the HR Team.Complying with all company processes.

About you

  • GCSE educated including Maths and English
  • 6 months experience in fast paced organisation – completing full employment life cycle/tasks.
  • Confident communicator – clear written and verbal skills
  • Practical problem solver – resolution focused.
  • Recruitment experience – end to end/interviews/assessment criteria/drafting materials
  • Attentive to detail – process orientated to ensure job completed first time right to deadline.
  • Effective at planning & organising workload – time management and management of internal customer expectations. Must be able to meet various deadlines on time and in full.
  • Competent IT user – HR system/ Microsoft packages. (Excel/Word)
  • Basic employment legislation knowledge.
  • Experience of right to work checks.
  • Management of emails and intranet.
