Based from any UK depot (dependant on home location) with regular travel / overnight stays at other UK locations as required. Occasional ability to work from home (where agreed with line manager).
The Technical Training Consultant will own training and assessment activities, including advise, design, delivery and evaluation of practical and technical learning solutions across the operations teams. You will build the skills and knowledge of internal and external delegates for both operational competencies and product knowledge.
You will also lead on associated training projects to drive continuous improvements of both training offering and competency / training record management.
A professionally qualified trainer / facilitator with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in providing practical training across a multi-site operation, covering all elements of the training cycle, from needs analysis, design, delivery and evaluation.
You will have great planning and organising skills and a self-starter with the confidence to deliver to audiences of varying sizes and across varied media and styles. You will have experience in driving a blended learning approach, be familiar with the 70:20:10 model and be equally comfortable delivering online or in a classroom / workshop / outdoor yard environment. You will have experience in record management to ensure training data is up to date for reporting and planning purposes.
As a self-starter and active problem solver, you have experience in engaging, influencing and working collaboratively with people at all levels to ensure training is planned and delivered right and on-time and opportunities for continuous improvements are identified and actioned.
