BarrierGuard 800

BarrierGuard 003

What is BarrierGuard 800?

BarrierGuard 800 is a robust deformable steel safety barrier that stops errant vehicles by absorbing their energy through a combination of self-weight and catenary action.

Designed as a smooth-faced steel barrier with a unique stepped profile, BarrierGuard 800 gives a high level of protection to both the travelling public and those in the work zone by providing continuous physical separation.

Why use Mabey’s BarrierGuard 800?

Mabey is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of BarrierGuard 800 which is approved by the Highways England and Scottish Roads Authority and is being used extensively to improve safety standards on the motorway and trunk roads networks in England, Scotland and Wales.

Its ease of transport and speed of installation over more traditional concrete barriers enable designers and contractors to increase safety standards within acceptable cost and timescales.
