Mabey Walks The Planet

A number of Mabey employees are going to Walk the Planet for 24 hours on Saturday 9th July. They will pass a virtual baton around the globe to keep Mabey walking for 24 hours. Our employees will take it in turns to walk for one hour each and at the end of the hour, the virtual baton will be passed on to the next person.

Over 300 employees are already taking part in Global Corporate Challenge (GCC) and Mabey Walk The Planet adds to Mabey’s ‘Better You’ campaign to help and encourage employees to think about their health and take steps to improve it.

John O’Hagan, Business Development Manager, came up with the idea for Mabey Walk The Planet and is encouraging employees to take part. He comments “Take the dog, walk around the bedroom. It just doesn’t matter where as long as somebody on the Planet is walking continuously. Everybody is welcome so spread the word!”
