Furthering our commitment to utilities with dedicated AMP team

Recognising the importance of AMP7 for the UK’s water infrastructure, we have invested in a dedicated AMP7 team, furthering our support and commitment to the utilities sector.

Headed up by Lisa Bury, Business Development Manager, we're proud to have a dedicated team of experienced Regional Sales Managers strategically positioned across the UK’s 11 water authority zones/areas, to help support both the planned and reactive works within the seventh Asset Management Period (AMP7).

Alongside our 60 years’ experience, we have the widest range of temporary works equipment available for hire in the industry. It's this comprehensive portfolio, combined with our industry expertise, that will enable us to work closely with water authorities and contractors to help overcome the unique challenges found within the utilities sector.

Speaking about the investment, Lisa Bury, Business Development Manager – AMP7 said: “The seventh AMP framework marks a huge investment by utility companies and authorities in our UK water infrastructure, helping to improve, invest in and repair our pipelines, wastewater treatment plants, sewer overflows and pumping stations. Temporary works can have a huge role to play in enabling these vital works, from cofferdams and ground support for excavations of all shapes and sizes, to temporary access and monitoring solutions.

“Working closely with contractors and water authorities across the UK, and with the help of Mabey Hire’s expert sales, engineering, depot and installation teams, I’m looking forward to building those customer relationships and supporting the integral AMP7 framework.”
