Available to hire, the modular steel Mabey Universal (MU) Vehicle Bridge is our most robust heavy duty bridging system.
The Mabey Universal (MU) bridge’s heavy load capacity, combined with its simple pinned/bolted connections, makes it ideal for long span bridging. Its perfect for road diversions during bridge reconstruction, or for heavy plant access onto construction sites.
Incorporating either internal or cantilever walkways and a maximum width of 10.5m, means this bridge can cater for up to three lanes of traffic plus pedestrians.
In addition, multispan solutions are available meaning that the suitability of the Mabey Universal bridge is not restricted by the length of crossing. This bridge has high fatigue capability and therefore a long service life.
Also available are optional ramps, footwalks, piers, parapets and various deck options.
