Euromats help Christmas celebrations kick off at medieval fayre

Ludlow Castle, Shropshire

950 year old Ludlow Castle in Shropshire was one of the first stone castles to be built in England. Standing prominently overlooking the River Teme, the castle is home to Ludlow’s major festivals throughout the year.

The challenge

Each year, a medieval Christmas market is held within the castle grounds, with over eighty stalls offering festive gifts, food and drink.

The ground in the castle is primarily grass and soil, making it difficult for vehicles to access during setup, and for pedestrians during the event.

Our solution

After providing Euromats in previous years to protect the ground and offer safe access for vehicles and pedestrians, Dakin Events asked us to supply 610 mats again for this year’s event.
