The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) Investigation

The Competition and Markets Authority (“CMA”) has today acted again to stamp out anti-competitive behaviours in the UK construction services market.

Mabey proactively raised concerns with the CMA about potential anti-competitive behaviour, and gave its full support and co-operation to their investigation.

Unfair competition is not conducive to a healthy market place and every company faces a major challenge to ensure every employee is acting appropriately.

Mabey takes a zero tolerance approach to unethical and anti-competitive behaviour. This is one of the reasons Mabey has embraced ISO 37001, which is only awarded to those companies that can demonstrate that a management system is in place to prevent bribery and corruption risks.
