What is dust monitoring?
In construction, dust monitoring is the measurement and analysis of dust levels both on and around a work site.
Why is it required?
Airborne particulates can affect the air quality in the surrounding areas, so constant evaluation is required to help prevent your works exceeding dust limits.
Overexposure to dust in the air is known to be the cause of serious health problems, therefore local authorities often specify that dust levels on and around a construction site must be monitored and kept to within safe levels – protecting employees and neighbouring residents, which is why dust monitoring is required.
What are Mabey Hire’s dust monitoring solutions?
