Dust Monitoring

Dust Monitoring

What is dust monitoring?

In construction, dust monitoring is the measurement and analysis of dust levels both on and around a work site.

Why is it required?

Airborne particulates can affect the air quality in the surrounding areas, so constant evaluation is required to help prevent your works exceeding dust limits.

Overexposure to dust in the air is known to be the cause of serious health problems, therefore local authorities often specify that dust levels on and around a construction site must be monitored and kept to within safe levels – protecting employees and neighbouring residents, which is why dust monitoring is required.

What are Mabey Hire’s dust monitoring solutions?

We offer the Mabey Hire EnviroGuard as a complete, long-term, modular and scalable environmental monitoring solution, which features remote data transfer to Mabey Hire’s LIVEsite. This gives you access to all the information you need to monitor dust levels on-site.

We also offer a handheld noise monitoring solution for onsite spot monitoring of noise levels.
