Each year we conduct an employee engagement survey which provides our teams with the opportunity to be heard on the things that matter most to them. This helps identify improvement initiatives that really make a difference to the people who work in our business.
We support our people in learning and development and provide study support to those who wish to further their academic qualifications. We encourage our engineers to achieve Chartered or Professionally Certified status. We build the future capability of our team through recruiting graduates and apprentices, supporting their development so that they have a long term and successful career path with Mabey Hire.
We aim to actively promote and improve the health and wellbeing of our workforce through a range of programmes that run throughout the year.
To help make our industry more diverse and capable of increasing productivity and improving collaboration, we are a founding partner in Construction News’s Inspire Me campaign which supports women in practical ways to develop successful, senior roles in our industry.
With demand for construction and infrastructure growing, we will not be able to meet those increasing needs without attracting more talented people to work in construction.
