Physical structural monitoring relies on high frequency sensors being fixed to the structure and then accurately detecting change. These can be either wired or wireless in their operation.
Optical structural monitoring involves sight targets that are fixed to the structure, working with instruments that sit remotely away from the structure — ideal for assessing long-term settlement.

Together, our systems monitor the performance of structures for changes in load, temperature, rotation, displacement, inclination, strain, fatigue, vibration, deflection and crack movement. These measurements can be used in combination with movement data from 3D scans and automated deformation monitoring, acquired through total stations, digital levels and dynamic monitoring stations.
This complete structural understanding is wirelessly streamed to LIVEsite, where it can be visualised in real-time through our LIVEBIM 3D modelling software.
